Whitehaven Beach is renowned as one of the Top 10 Beaches in the World – no trip to the Whitsundays is complete without a visit to this ‘beautiful piece of paradise’. Here you will have ample time to enjoy a swim in the crystal clear turquoise waters, feel the pure white silica sand through your toes on this 7km stretch of beach
Half the Fun is getting there and back! Fury cruises past more than 30 tropical islands which make up part of the Whitsunday Islands group. So sit back, enjoy the stunning natural scenery, catch a glimpse of a turtle, dolphin or even a hump back whale and our crew will inform you of the history behind this amazing area
Enjoy a Delicious Mediterranean style buffet picnic lunch on Whitehaven Beach!
Departure: Check-in no later than 9:30AM at Meeting Point B: Coral Sea Marina Northern Village.
Return Time: 5PM
For guests making their own way to the Marina - Meeting Point B is located at the Northern Village of Coral Sea Marina next to the roundabout by the shaded umbrellas.
Day parking at the marina is priced as follows:
Southern Marina Village: $8.00 per day (located 200m from the Northern Village)
Northern Marina Village: $12.00 per day (located next to the check-in area)

10 minutes de Paradis
Le tour avec bigfury c'est dans l'ensemble bien passé. Tout est organisé pour votre sécurité et votre confort. Par contre habitué de plongé / snorkeling ne vous faites pas avoir pour louer une combi de plongé (5 dollars) pour 30 min dans 4 mètres d'eau.. Ça ne sert à rien.. Au mieux à vous protéger du soleil..enfin autant se badigeonner de crème. Pour le reste nous sommes restés seulement 30 minutes sur le spot pour lequel tout le monde vient : on vous débarque sur l'île. Et là top départ pour la course 10 minutes de marche 10 minutes de photos 10 minutes de marche retour Et on remonte dans le bateau pour finir sur une grande plage sans attrait particulier pour manger pendant 2h. (plage de sable blanc avec tout un tas de touristes ;)) Le paradis pendant 10min à 159 dollars les 10minutes c'est cher. Nous sommes donc resté sur une note négative de cette journée. Pourquoi nous laissé 2h sur une plage qui ne sert à rien et 10min sur celle pour laquelle tout le monde vient ?! Apparemment c'est le pas de course pour toutes les autres compagnies.. Ça convient à beaucoup de touristes visiblement surement ses gens qui n'ont jamais fait de plongé ou jamais vu la mer turquoise ( Calédonie..) Bref je vous conseil soit de passer par cette compagnie qui reste une des moins cher pour voir le fameux spot.. Soit de prendre plus gros sur 2 jours et de manger des pattes le reste de votre séjour ;)

Hi Sylvania, Thank you for your feedback about your recent Big Fury cruise. I think some of your comments are not quite accurate however. The famous beach in the Whitsundays is Whitehaven Beach and this is where we spend over 2 hours and are one of the few boats that visit both Whitehaven Beach and the Hill Inlet Lookout. We are only one of 2 boats who transfer your lunch to the beach so you can enjoy a leisurely picnic buffet lunch on the beach as opposed to eating lunch in cramped conditions onboard the boat. The Hill Inlet Lookout is a very busy location, as you mentioned the beach was full of boats and most of the passengers from these boat do the walk to the Lookout so as a courtesy to other visitors , we allow a maximum of 30 minutes at the Lookout, otherwise it become too congested. You visited during 4 days of Northerly winds which means that our usual preferred snorkelling spots are off limits due to the wind direction. As you mentioned Big Fury offers one of the best value cruises in the Whitsundays . Wet suit and stinger suits are an optional $5.00 to cover washing, drying, repair and replacement of suits, which most people have no problem paying. J'ai passer un agréable moment, je regrette par contre le manque de temp passer au hill inlet lookout qui est l'endroit le plus jolie, 30 minute sachant qu'il faut marcher pour y arriver laisse seulement 10 minute pour profiter de la vue.le staff était okay mais sans plus. En ce qui concerne le snorkeling... Et bien à cause du cyclone ya rien à voir, je ne blâme pas le staff pour ça mais le temp perdu au snorkeling aurai pu servir pour la vue de hill inlet lookout.

Hi Quentin, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent Big Fury cruise to visit the Whitsunday Islands. We are delighted that you enjoyed your day . We spend 1 hour at the Hill Inlet lookout which includes the walk up an down to the lookout, this area is quite congested with other tourists and is also very tidal dependent, so we cannot spend more than an hour in this area. That is why we give our guests over 2 hours at Whitehaven Beach, which is a 7km stretch of pristine beach, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy a swim and take in the scenery. Snorkelling visibility is improving by the day, with the calm weather we have enjoyed in June. Enjoy the rest of your travels! All the best, The Big Fury crew

Tout simplement génial ! Guide parfait
Très bonne journée passé avec Big Fury ! Pick up, bateau très rapide, on a eu la chance de voir 3 baleines, le point de vue est magnifique, les plages également. Le repas est parfait, et très complet. Le must, le guide est tout simplement génial !!! Foncez

Bon compromis pour visiter whitehaven sur un jour
Bonne organisation du groupe avec mise a disposition du matériel pour snorkelling et nager en sécurité(combi stinger), le buffet était bon, dommage qu'on n'ait pas pu le prendre sur la plage, du coup à bord du bateau c'était un peu délicat. Le temps sur la plage pourrait être un peu plus long mais vu le trajet qu'il y a jusqu'à l'île c'est compréhensible. On a été un peu étonné que le capitaine nous explique comment mettre un masque de snorkelling et comment vider un tuba mais on a vite compris une fois que les autres passagers sont allés dans l'eau avec gilet de sauvetage et frites pour faire du snorkelling!😅 Bon deal pour un jour et voir cette merveille qu'est la plage de Whitehaven!
