We had such a great time on the Thunder Jet adrenaline experience! I took my son and it was genuinely thrilling for both of us, without ever crossing over into feeling out-of-control scary. We got just wet enough for it to add to the fun, but not so soaked that we were uncomfortable afterwards.
Our driver was clearly very experienced and also really knowledgeable about Sydney and the different landmarks we passed along the way. I really appreciated how well the whole experience was run from a safety perspective. We were told before each of the bigger manoeuvres what was about to happen, then checked on afterwards to make sure everyone was happy to keep going. There were regular safety checks throughout, which meant I could actually relax and enjoy the adrenaline without worrying.
My son and I absolutely loved it and are already talking about doing it again. I’d definitely recommend it for tourists wanting a fun way to see Sydney, but equally for old Sydney-siders like me who want to experience the harbour in a completely different way. So much fun!
