An ideal self guided fishing trip in Cairns - explore Trinity Inlet for the day!
Explore the huge 90km calm-water wilderness that is Trinity Inlet. Home to mud crabs, crocodiles, birdlife and fish species.
You'll get a chance to see crocodiles and bird life as well as having the chance to catch a wide range of fish and mud crabs. Set crab pots, drop a line, enjoy lunch and cruising about for the day.
The pontoon-style boats can seat up to 8 people. A boat license is not required, neither is a fishing license. Your driver does need to be over 18 and will need ID at check-in. No experience is necessary.
Available for hire: Fishing rods and gear, crab pots, bait, ice, BBQ
What to bring: Insect repellent, sunscreen, water, food, fully-charged mobile phone, camera.
We supply: Fuel, Trinity Inlet chart, safety equipment, Esky.
Hire start time: 8:00am, check in by 7:455am, return by 4:30pm (check in 15 minutes prior to hire time)
Comfortably seats up to 8 people. Price is for whole boat hire, which holds up to 8 people maximum.

Pontoon boat hire in Cairns
Staff welcoming and they help getting your stuff on the boat. A fabulous way to relax in the centre of Cairns with the beautiful background scenery. I live in Cairns and will definitely hire a pontoon boat again.

BRING INSECT REPELLENT WITH DEET
No mention of needing to bring insect repellent. I was absolutely eaten alive by midges in a very small time frame. 2 weeks later, i am very unwell on my 2nd lot of antibiotics and prednisolone for the midge bites. Fishing rods are not great and very minimal tackle, not even any swivels to use our own lures.

Sehr entspannter Trip im Cairns Inlet
Wir hatten einen tollen und entspannten Tag im Cairns Inlet. Einweisung und Betreuung war sehr gut. Boot war technich in einem top Zustand. Wir haben sogar zwei Krokodile beim Sonnen beobachten können und einige Fische gefangen. Würden wir gleich nochmal machen. Vielen Dank Wichtig: Insektenabwehr nicht vergessen!
