This is your chance to take the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway up from Cairns and famous Kuranda Skyrail Cableway back down! All with the comfort of air conditioned coaches picking up and dropping off from your hotel
While in Kuranda you can explore the markets, shops, walking trails, take the seasonal river cruise and dine in the array of food stalls and cafes.
If you wish you can add on the Kuranda Wildlife Experience Pass which allows access to Kuranda’s top three wildlife attractions – Butterfly Sanctuary, Koala Gardens and Birdworld. Tickets can be purchased on your way to Checkout or from the driver on the day
Your purchase includes:
- Pick up from your inner city Cairns accommodation in a comfortable air conditioned coach
- Take the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway to Kuranda
- Spend the day in Kuranda Village
- Take the Kuranda Skyrail Cableway from Kuranda down to the base of the Kuranda Range
- Return to your accommodation by air conditioned coach

Merci, content que vous ayez aimé notre partie de la tournée! Bon conseil pour les futurs visiteurs qui ont un budget limité pour le shopping. Je recommanderais les sentiers pédestres!

Kuranda train & skyrail
An enjoyable day that started with an amazing crew that picked us up promptly from our hotel and entertained us on the trip the train station. Amazing scenery on the way up on the train with a few money shot photos over the bridge and the waterfalls. We were lucky to be allocated to carriage 1 on the way up which gave an amazing view of the length of the train around every corner. Be prepared for fumes through the tunnel. At the top we went on the little boat cruise and saw some amazing turtles and fish, however no crocs around (too warm in February), so a little disappointing. Pretty uneventful trip back - I'm scared of heights, but felt more than comfortable in the skyrail, which gives you two opportunities to hop off and check out the waterfall via glass bottom walkway (I avoided that bit!) and take a walk through the rainforest. Huge rainforest! Great descent at the bottom with a view to the coast. Be prepared for your photo to be taken at the bottom.

Tout s'est bien déroulé, service impeccable, prise à l'hôtel Et retour aussi Le train c'est une jolie expérience, le village s'est très ordinaire mais le retour par gondole c'est vraiment Super Merci

Beaux paysages mais piège à touristes
L’activité en elle-même est bien (train + skyrail), le transfert depuis Cairns est bien pratique. Les paysages sont magnifiques. En revanche, le village de Kuranda est un attrape touriste, rien n’est aborigène, dans les échoppes la plupart des produits sont made in China, tout est très cher que se soit les activités ou la nourriture. Ça ne vaut pas vraiment le coup.
