Discover the beauty of the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation region where the rainforest meets the reef!

Highlights

  • Experience nature watching on a 1 hour Daintree River Cruise
  • Epic photograph opportunity at the spectacular views from Alexandra Range Lookout
  • Learn about Aboriginal culture on a guided walk through the Daintree Rainforest
  • 4WD the Bloomfield Track with the only tour operator to offer this!
  • Enjoy a delicious cooked lunch at a local café
  • Take a refreshing swim at the pristine Emmagen Creek and relax on Cape Tribulation Beach

Get ready to explore the stunning Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation with Billy Tea Safaris - the Original Rainforest Tour guides that have been locally operated for over 36 years!

With small group sizes, comfortable custom-built air-conditioned 4WD vehicles and a local guide you will go further, see more and enjoy a personalised experience.

Once we have collected you from your accommodation your adventure begins with a spectacularly scenic drive north along the Captain Cook Highway to our first stop of the day the majestic Daintree River. On arrival, it will be time for a spot of morning tea (tea, coffee & biscuits) before embarking on a River Cruise where you will enjoy informative commentary and be able to spot some of the local wildlife including Estuarine Crocodiles.

Get your camera ready for our second stop of the day at Alexandra Range Lookout. You will be treated to panoramic views of World Heritage, Wet Tropics, and Tropical Rainforests as they merge with the turquoise Coral Sea.

Heading further north we arrive at Daintree Rainforest where you will get to stretch your legs with a guided tour along the elevated National Park Boardwalks. Your experienced guide will help you to identify flora and fauna as we search for the elusive, rare Southern Cassowary and other incredible wildlife.

Once we have finished our Rainforest walk it will be time to enjoy a tasty lunch at a local cafe.

Taking you through World Heritage Rainforest, beyond the famous Daintree Tea Plantation we are the only tour company to take you 4-wheel driving along the Bloomfield Track through to Emmagen Creek. This pristine creek makes for the perfect spot to hop in for a refreshing swim surrounded by lush rainforest and far away from the crowds.

Next up take a stroll along Cape Tribulation Beach - where the rainforest meets the reef! This stunning location is perfect for those who want to snap some beautiful photos and take in the scenery.

On our way to drop you back at your accommodation, we make one last stop at Daintree Ice-Cream Company for an exotic homemade ice cream.

Note: Temporary Itinerary Changes

Due to the impact of tropical cyclone Jasper and the associated flooding, itinerary changes have been made to this tour to ensure you still have a great day in the Daintree Rainforest. For more information on the exact itinerary changes, please visit the tour operator's website.

Excellent trip

Great experience. We got so much interesting information and also had loads of fun. Boardwalk through the rainforest and spotting a saltwater croc were my highlights. Had a really good day with a very cool guide.

Australia

Great experience, our driver was great. Very informative food could have been better but that’s on the restaurant not the tour guide.

Nice day trip to Daintree

All in all had a fantastic day. Great driver / tour guide. Only shortcoming was vegetarian food options for lunch. Only options were veg lasagna / salad. Should introduce something like veggie burger / falafel.
