We went on the 2:30pm Cruise last week. Very friendly staff and guide. We managed to see a very large Alpha Croc on the river bank, a baby croc plus birds and a snake. My tip would be to try and go earlier in the day up to midday when you are likely to see more Crocs active.
Had an awesome afternoon cruising with Bruce’s partner. The love of the river and intimate knowledge of the crocs we saw was shared in a comfortable, friendly way. The education given to us about the effects of the December floods and cyclone on the river and ecosystem was a welcome bonus. Scratch was a great cruiser too!
Tour was poor only sited 2 x crocodiles and there was very little commentary by the operator. Bad day for sightings by all operators our operator did spend a lot of time searching different areas. He even went overtime for us to get a chance to see the second crocodile.
Our favourite thing in the daintree rainforest! We got to see some crocodiles up close in the river and our guide was brilliant at spotting all the wildlife.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your cruise on the Daintree River with us. It's fantastic that you had the opportunity to see crocodiles up close, but still in their natural habitat. Our guides are passionate about the flora and fauna of the Daintree Rainforest, and they strive to provide informative and enjoyable experiences for our guests. We appreciate your positive feedback and hope that your time in the Daintree Rainforest left you with lasting memories. If you ever find yourself back in the area, we'd love to have you join us for another adventure!
